Cricket Blast Program

Cricket Blast Program

Cricket Blast is the start of your child's cricket journey.

With the help of experienced club personnel and your valuable input, the Cricket Blast group will certainly enjoy their Friday evening seasons.

Woolworths Cricket Blast captures the colour and excitement of the Men's and Women's Big Bash League in a fun and fast format. Blast is for kids learning the basic skills of cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game-based activities. The activities are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. After they have mastered the basics, they will be ready for modified games of cricket.

Our Blast Coordinator is Kyle Wright and we will be looking for parents to assist with some of the activities. No experience is necessary. Please let us know if you are willing to assist. Our club is run solely on a volunteer basis and your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Assisting your child under the eye of a coach can be rewarding for everyone.

Our licensed canteen will also be opened and provides a selection of hot or cold drinks, as well as a variety of snack food and a sausage sizzle is held every Friday night as well. An under covered area with tables and chairs provides a perfect viewing area for parents, grandparents and friends.
